Rudolph van Veen had a childhood dream – to become a chef. Forty-five years later successfully finished culinary school in Breda, he worked as a chef in Switzerland, specializes in confectionery products and works as a chef Vakbekwaamheid Stichting Horeca – which is the highest praise that one can obtain.

Several times he won at national and international culinary competitions.

In the homeland he has won four first prizes in the competition Zilveren Koksmuts, and as a member of the Dutch culinary teams, he won awards in competitions in Frankfurt, Sydney, London and Singapore.

Rudolph – Bus stop bakery

For 12 years Rudolph is one of the most popular Dutch television chefs. In one of the most successful projects of the series ” Bus stop bakery” (a traveling bakery). This mobile bakery, is a pink bus filled with unique cupcakes and pastries which tours around the Netherlands. The bakery makes 10% of their income to charity. As the culinary supervisor of the project, he is responsible for the selecton of the recipes for the ‘Bus stop bakery’.
